Besonnesch dankbar si mir och iwwer d’Ënnerstëtzung vun De Späicher, dem Jugendhaus Nidderaanwen a Sudstroum escher kulturlaf, déi no hiren Eventer een Don u Sea Shepherd Luxembourg gemaach hunn.

An dësem Joer sinn d’Spendegelder un d’Oktopus-Campagne a Griichenland gaangen. Dës Campagne setzt sech fir de Schutz vun Oktopus-Populatiounen an a riicht sech besonnesch géint déi desastréis Fangmethoden, déi souwuel d’Aartevillfalt, wéi och empfindlech Mieresliewensraim gefäerden.

🇬🇧 General meeting of Sea Shepherd Luxembourg

At the general meeting of Sea Shepherd Luxembourg on 21 February 2026, of last year’s national activities (information and merchandise stands, clean-up operations, lectures) was presented.Four volunteers took part in international campaigns, including

  • Emily in the Baltic Sea Campaign,
  • Christian in Operation Living Fjords,
  • Simone in Operation Cinque Terre
  • and Kevin in the Monachus Defense Campaign.

After an outlook on the year 2026, a big thank you went out to our donors, without whom Sea Shepherd’s work would not be possible. We are also particularly grateful for the support of De Späicher, Jugendhaus Nidderaanwen and Sudstroum escher kulturlaf, who made a donation to Sea Shepherd Luxembourg after their events.

This year, the donations were dedicated to the Octopus Campaign in Greece. This campaign is committed to the protection of octopus populations and is particularly opposed to destructive fishing methods that endanger both biodiversity and sensitive marine habitats.
